Graduated in Medicine and Surgery, he dedicated himself to the study of acupuncture since the late '70s. From 1988 to 1996, he directed the High School of Acupuncture in Rome, Pisa and Milan. From 1986 to 1994, he directed the first public acupuncture clinic in Rome.
He coordinated the training of acupuncture for medical doctors at the hospitals Nuovo Regina Margherita and San Giovanni in Rome.
President of the Italian Association of Acupuncture, since 2017 he is vice president of the WFCMS (World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies). Director of the School of Energetic and Traditional Acupuncture in Rome and Arad - Romania (Vasile Goldis University).
Referee for the Italian Ministry of Health within the CME program for Non-Conventional Medicine from 2000 to 2010; he is a member of the Non-Conventional Medicine Commission at the Medical Association of Rome and Province since 2012.
